Detailed Description

Based in either Belfast or Derry, the successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on some unique and high profile developments throughout Ireland in the public and private sector.

Reporting to the Director in charge of EIA, the role will include:

· Management of Environmental Impact Assessment projects including both internal and external specialist teams;
· Liaison with statutory and non-statutory organisations
· Contributing to and reviewing EIS reports
· Client liaison & Business Development activity
· Project, financial, and cost controlling
· Managing EIA personnel and resources

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual to progress their
career. The successful candidate should be able to bring the following academic, professional and interpersonal skills to this role:

· 5 years experience in the EIA / EIS consultancy field
· Proven project management experience in a consultancy environment, with a preference shown to those candidates who have managed multi-skilled / large EIA projects
· A thorough knowledge of Northern Ireland and Eire EIA Regulations, the planning system and processes
· Degree / post graduate qualification in a relevant (environmental related) subject
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to use initiative and inspire a team
· A proven track record in delivering (and exceeding) client expectations.
