Our client provides a full range of sustainability advice and sustainable development services both at corporate and project level to the public and private sectors. Their range of services including:

· Sustainability Business Consulting
· Sustainability appraisals of development projects and plans
· Advice on sustainable design and construction
· Energy strategy, efficiency and Clean Energy Technologies
· Specific design advice and assessment (BREEAM, EcoHomes and CEEQUAL ssessment)
· Protection of the environment (Environmental Impact Assessment, Strategic Environmental Assessments, habitat surveys, noise, water, landscape, archaeology and air quality assessments)
· Development of Environmental Management Systems (compliant with ISO 14001 / BS8555 / EMAS)
· Training delivery

This is a strategically important role within the sustainability team. You would join a dynamic ‘All-Ireland’ team of sustainability / environmental management professionals integrated to deliver the above range of services. The team provides support and solutions for all stakeholders within a range of sectors, including construction, manufacturing, education, health and commerce, throughout both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

With individual responsibility for project delivery and management, you will also undertake project financial responsibilities and fulfil the role of managing other projects being delivered by the team. Based in Belfast the role will specifically require line management responsibility for other team professionals.

Key Skills / Qualifications required:

· Experience in Sustainability projects (Business, Engineering or Environmental Consulting)
· BREEAM / CEEQUAL / EcoHomes or equivalent Registered Assessor
· 3 years relevant experience in environmental, business operations or management / engineering
· Degree in Business, Science or Engineering
· Full Driving Licence
· Familiarity with current and emerging sustainability related legislation
· IEMA Registered Environmental / EMS Auditor (desirable)
