My client’s landscape architecture team of over 40 staff has a wide range of high profile work needing the full range of landscape architects expertise. Thier workload continues to increase in the Cardiff office with a need for a new landscape architect to provide a local presence.

This is an opportunity to establish and lead a new landscape architecture team in Cardiff and form part of a growing team in South Wales and the south west of England. They can offer an exciting range of projects, career progression and the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional quality of life in Cardiff.

The principal function of this position is to have a leading and significant role as a senior landscape architect on a wide range of interesting projects covering design and assessment

The priorities of this role include;

You will be expected to work on a wide range of projects on your own initiative, as part of the landscape team, as an integral member of the wider multi-disciplinary environment team covering water and power, transportation, property and consulting.

You will need to be flexible and adaptable, enthusiastic and responsible.

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant landscape architecture degree to Part 3 or equivalent and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge;

  • MLI
  • good graphics and presentations skills
  • reasonable AutoCAD skills, and MS office essential
  • photoshop or other drawing/illustration skills would be desirable
