Detailed Description

The main purpose of this role is to develop, maintain and monitor performance related to Group environmental procedures. This will involve advising Business Units within the company on environmental legislation and industry best practice and liaising with the Group Environmental Manager regarding the ISO 14001 pre-certification process when applicable. In addition to providing detailed support and guidance during the planning stages of a project you will be expected to review for adequacy all environmental risk assessments and impact assessments. Suitable applicants will have a related degree, ideally construction industry experience and be a motivated self starter. In addition they will possess strong knowledge of environmental legislation and be able to provide pragmatic environmental solutions to construction staff.
